The Board of Directors of the American Bus Association is instrumental in providing leadership and direction for the members of the ABA and for the motorcoach, tour, and travel industry. Individuals serving on the ABA Board of Directors are dues-paying members in good standing.

Board committees focus on specific aspects of governance of importance to the association. Each Board member is expected to volunteer to serve on one or more ABA committees. Board Committee Listing
Board Councils are convened at least twice a year and led by a Council spokesperson, who is selected annually by the Chair of the Board of Directors and continues service at the pleasure of the other members of the Council. Each Council has an ABA staff liaison. Board Council Listing
