Awards

In recognition of the talent and foresight of the motorcoach industry throughout its rich history, and continuing on to this day, ABA has created two awards to celebrate the progress, humanitarian spirit and long-standing achievement of key individuals and leading organizations.

ABA Lifetime Achievement Award

The ABA Lifetime Achievement Award seeks to recognize individuals who have demonstrated significant dedication to the motorcoach, travel and tourism industry. In assessing candidates for this award, a special committee will consider those with at least 25 years of involvement in the industry, outstanding contributions and dedication to the industry, and outstanding contributions to their company and community. Nominators should include a narrative outlining the nominee's past contributions and dedication to the industry, his/her community, and ABA in their submission. Both current members and posthumous nominees will be eligible for consideration.

Diversity Committee's Kaleidoscope Award

The ABA Diversity Committee's Kaleidoscope Award looks to recognize an individual or company/organization that has directly impacted the advancement and promotion of diversity within and among the motorcoach, tourism and hospitality industry. Award nominees will have articulated and implemented a vision that is strategic, forward thinking, energizes others and challenges his/her organization and the industry to create an environment that fosters diversity. They will also have demonstrated efforts to provide increased opportunities for underrepresented populations such as creating employment or leadership development programs.
