Nominations open for the 2026 ABA Best of the Best Awards
The American Bus Association (ABA) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 ABA Best of the Best Awards, recognizing the destinations, attractions, experiences, and operators that create exceptional travel experiences and memorable journeys for travelers across North America.
Now in its 11th year, the ABA Best of the Best Awards showcase organizations and experiences that exemplify excellence in the travel and tourism industry. The program highlights innovative attractions, outstanding service, unique destinations, and unforgettable experiences that inspire group travel and strengthen communities.
Beginning this year, ABA has restructured the categories, adding a “Most Comfortable Ride – Motorcoach” for bus and tour operators, celebrating buses and operators as a critical part of the group tour and travel industry.
Readers will have the opportunity to cast their votes for their favorite nominees in each category.
Nominations are being accepted in the following categories:
- Culture
- Festivals & Events
- Entertainment
- Hidden Gem
- Themed Tour Excellence
- Most Comfortable Ride – Motorcoach
- Stay, Sip, Savor
- Better Together
A new element has been added to the program for 2026: industry voting. Following the nomination period, all nominees will be featured in the November/December 2026 issue of Destinations, ABA’s official magazine. Readers will have the opportunity to cast their votes for their favorite nominees in each category.
Category winners will be announced at the ABA’s 2027 Marketplace in Calgary, AB and also featured in the March/April 2027 issue of Destinations.
Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to submit their nominations by August 15, 2026.
