Support the Future of Transportation, Travel, and Tourism with an ABAF Donation

Take advantage of one of three ways to donate to the 2025-26 ABAF Scholarship fund.

As a valued member of our association community, we invite you to support the American Bus Association Foundation’s (ABAF) scholarship program through our annual fundraising efforts. Last year, through the generosity of our donors, we raised over $110,000, and we aim to surpass this amount in the coming year. We can only achieve this with your help!

The ABA Foundation is dedicated to advancing the motorcoach, tour, and travel industry’s future by providing financial assistance to deserving students pursuing higher education. Our scholarship program helps cultivate the next generation of industry leaders, ensuring continued innovation and excellence within our field.

We offer three ways for you to make a meaningful contribution. With any option, you will receive recognition for your support in our event promotions and communications:

  1. Silent Auction Donation: For our silent auction, donate items such as travel packages, hotel stays, gift certificates, unique experiences, or travel accessories. The auction will open in mid-January and close during the final days of Marketplace 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Your donation will be featured in our auction materials.
  2. Purse and Fashion Accessories Raffle: Contribute a purse or fashion accessory for our onsite raffle. This exciting event allows participants to buy tickets for a chance to win high-end items, with all proceeds supporting the scholarship program. It’s a great way to showcase your brand while supporting a worthy cause. (And if you’re unsure what to donate, we can work with you to secure an item(s) for the raffle!) Your contribution will be featured onsite at Marketplace 2025.
  3. Direct Donation: Make a straightforward financial contribution to our scholarship program. Your donation will go directly to supporting students, providing them with the financial assistance they need to pursue their education and careers in our industry. Your generous support will aid our scholarship program and provide an excellent opportunity to showcase your commitment to the future of the travel and tourism industry.   4. Attend the Afterglow Event: Join a memorable party on Monday, February 3, at the Hard Rock Cafe of Philadelphia from 9 pm to midnight. Tickets are $50 – all of which goes straight to the Foundation’s scholarship fund – and can be purchased via your Marketplace Passport or onsite at the Registration booth. (Event sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe; band sponsored by Prevost.)

The American Bus Association serves a thriving industry that provides nearly 600 million passenger trips annually on charters, tours, scheduled service, and shuttles. Membership in ABA includes motorcoach operators, tour operators, tourism-related organizations, and products and service suppliers.
