Support BusPAC
Helping the motorcoach, tour, and travel industry in Washington, D.C.
What is BusPAC?
BusPAC is the American Bus Association’s political action committee (PAC), which enables the ABA to contribute funds to congressional candidates and educate them on the motorcoach, tour, and travel industry.
Why does the industry need a PAC?
ABA member companies are not permitted to contribute directly to political candidates; however, principals and certain employees of our member companies may contribute to a PAC, which is permitted to make contributions to political candidates. Funding from BusPAC is a key tool ABA uses to meet and discuss motorcoach, tour, and travel issues with members of Congress.
There are many PACs in Washington, D.C., representing businesses and unions across the spectrum.
Having a PAC in Washington is a necessity for trade associations representing business interests. BusPAC represents and is the voice for the motorcoach, tour, and travel industry.
What is the BusPAC Solicitation Authorization Form?
By law, ABA must obtain written permission from an authorized representative of an ABA member-company to allow ABA or BusPAC to ask for or solicit BusPAC contributions from the company’s executive and administrative employees. BusPAC is ABA’s political action committee, established to support federal political candidates.
By completing the form below or downloading the form here and submitting it to ABA, the authorized representative is giving ABA and/or BusPAC permission to solicit or ask the ABA member company personnel for a BusPAC contribution.
Submitting this form DOES NOT OBLIGATE anyone to contribute, it only authorizes ABA and/or BusPAC to ask.
A corporation may not approve solicitations by another trade association for the same calendar year.
The company listed below hereby authorizes BusPAC, a political action committee affiliated with the American Bus Association, to solicit the company’s executive and administrative personnel for contributions in calendar year(s) 2025 through 2029.
