Operations Specialist

My role as ABA’s Operations Specialist involves supporting the CEO and the broader team with day-to-day operations, administrative coordination, and member communications. Much of my work happens behind the scenes, helping keep priorities organized, projects moving, and the team on track. I focus on making sure the day-to-day foundation is strong so others can do their work effectively.

What I enjoy most about working at ABA is the people. I get to support a team that genuinely cares about the members they serve, and that kind of environment makes a real difference. I also appreciate that our members are real operators running real businesses. It keeps the work practical, grounded, and aligned with industry needs.

My background is in operations and administrative support, with experience in communications coordination, logistics, and the management of complex schedules and projects. I’m comfortable balancing multiple priorities simultaneously, and I enjoy finding ways to streamline processes for the teams I support.

One part of ABA’s work that especially interests me is growth: expanding the association’s reach, strengthening its presence, and making sure the right infrastructure is in place to support that progress. Operations touches so much of that work, which is one of the reasons I find the role so rewarding.

Outside of work, I have a dog who definitely keeps me on my toes, and I’m usually in the middle of a craft project or trying a new baking recipe. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and trying new activities.
