How to Use the Interactive Map

Access reports on the economic impact of motorcoach group travel in each U.S. state through the PDF links below. 

General Navigation

• Pan: Click the map to move around.
• Zoom: Use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out.

How to Select and View Data by State and Congressional District

Method 1: Using the Interactive Map

1. Click a State: Click directly on any state on the map.
2. View State Results: Immediately, the detailed results for that state will appear in the “State results” panel on the right-hand side.
3. Click a District: Click on an individual congressional district in this detailed map.
4. View District Results: The data for that specific district will now appear in the tooltip when you hover over the district based on the metric chosen from the “Sort by” drop-down menu.

Method 2: Using the Drop-down Menus

1. Select a State: Use the “State(s) drop-down menu to find and select a state from the list. This will automatically update the table below to show data for that state.
2. Select a District: Once a state is selected, use the “Area(s)” drop-down menu. This menu will now be filtered to show only the congressional districts within that state. Select a district from the list, and its data will appear in the table.

Interpreting the Map’s Colors

The colors on the map are graded to help you visualize the data at a glance.

• Sort by: The color scheme is based on the metric selected in the ”Sort by” drop-down menu.
• Graded Colors: The darker shades of blue on the map represent areas with a higher value for the selected metric, while lighter shades of blue correspond to areas with a lower value. This allows you to quickly identify which areas have the greatest economic impact.
