Key Highlights

  • According to the data gathered, all charter bus services were canceled for the months of March, April, May, June, and July in 2020.
  • As of September, scheduled service operations are estimated to be down by between 70-80%, and commuter operations are down by a range of 80- 90 percent.
  • Most operators do not believe commuter service will return to even 50% of pre-virus levels in markets like New York City, Washington DC, Boston, and Los Angeles.
