Vicki Osman has been with ABA since 2004. Among her many contributions to the organization and its members, she has increased enrollment in and the graduation rate for the Certified Travel Industry Specialist (CTIS) program, of which she herself is an alumna; she has developed marketing pieces and campaigns for membership and Marketplace; and she has revamped the online member search function and My ABA pages so members can now search on tour destinations, make secure financial transactions online, maintain their own listings and manage their subscriptions to publications. Vicki also serves as the staff liaison for the Marketplace Orientation Subcommittee, Marketplace Education Subcommittee and the CTIS Committee.
Prior to ABA, she worked for nine years at the American Red Cross, where she developed a range of experiences in marketing and sales, which now helps to make Marketplace so successful. She was one of the first people to join AmeriCorps, and worked specifically on the Pennsylvania Service Corps, specializing in academic community services at a local college. She is a graduate of Gettysburg College, with degrees in history and secondary education. She lives in suburban Maryland with her husband Marc, and her two daughters, Katelyn and Emily.
