Brad Tucker joined ABA in March 2017 and serves as the Director of Program Engagement and BusPAC. In this role, Brad and manages BusPAC, ABA's Political Action Committe, works with the ABA Board of Directors, the American Bus Association Foundation, ABA's councils and the Florida Motorcoach Association. He has a background in associations, government affairs and transportation policy.
He comes to ABA from a small government affairs firm where he represented cities and public authorities, particularly in the areas of transportation, community development, public safety and federal appropriations. He previously held positions in government affairs at other firms and associations where he gained a solid understanding of legislative and administrative processes.
Tucker holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, specializing in government service and regulatory institutions and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee. He is originally from Sweetwater, Tenn. and currently lives in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
