As the industry prepares for its upcoming spring travel season, there are few newsworthy events happening that could possibly affect your business.

As you are aware, the Coronavirus has been making headlines for weeks and will most likely continue doing so for some time. We have seen a number of articles where officials are encouraging people not to travel in groups and already restricting airline and train activities.

On Jan. 27, the US Chamber of Commerce is holding a Coronavirus Briefing at 3 p.m. EST as a webinar.

Springtime in Washington, D.C.

Group tour and motorcoach operators provide an important service for tourists and visitors that travel to Washington, D.C. Each year, the District receives its highest number of tourists during the peak spring season.

On Feb. 5 from 2-3 p.m. EST join ABA, Destination DC, the District Department of Transportation and U.S. National Park Service for a webinar session to provide an overview of rules, regulations, programs, changes, and events related to Group Tour/Motorcoach operations in Washington, D.C.
