Happy First Day of Summer, the Season of Travel!

Happy first day of summer! With school out and a, hopefully, lighter workload, summer is prime season for travel. Let’s jumpstart your vacation planning!

Taking a road trip is one of the most popular summer pastimes. Just how popular are road trips? According to AAA, more than one-third of Americans are planning to take a vacation of 50 miles or more away from home this summer, and a vast majority of those American’s will hit the road.

Why not leave the driving to a well-trained and experienced driver and take a motorcoach trip this summer? Motorcoaches take you where you want to go. Some of the most popular road trip routes are found in areas not served by regular air or train service. From smaller towns to the largest urban area, you will often find that a motorcoach can get you to your destination faster than other modes of transportation.

Summer travelers should be open-minded to destinations they may not have previously considered. Travelers can discover destinations that weren’t even on their radar by contacting an ABA member tour operator. Anyone can go to Buses.org to find an ABA member.

If you looking to save money this summer, consider traveling by motorcoach. While you may consider flying when traveling more than a few hours from home, the price of tickets, luggage fees, and the cost of a rental car adds up before you arrive at your destination. ABA member motorcoach operators offer both charter services and regularly scheduled trips.

Travel in comfort and style this summer. Motorcoaches provide more legroom, bigger seats, and more space than flying in economy class on any airline. Kick back, relax, and enjoy the trip. Most motorcoach operators also provide free, high-speed wi-fi. This is especially great for games and movies to pass the time. Be sure and check out a recent article where ABA President Peter Pantuso talks to Moneyish.com about why riding the bus today is more comfortable and stylish.
