As American Bus Association Members Go to St. Louis for Marketplace, GroupConnect is Providing More Value for ABA/Ontario Motorcoach Association Members (For immediate release January 6, 2015)
When the more than 3,000 delegates attend the ABA’s annual Marketplace in St. Louis, January 10-13, 2015, GroupConnect, the industry’s online group travel planner, will be ready.
One area of likely extensive growth in the next ten years is with inbound Chinese visitors to the United States and Canada. To help group tour businesses reach the Chinese Market, ABA and GroupConnect have scheduled an informative educational seminar. It will be held Saturday, January 10, at 2:00 pm for Marketplace attendees to hear firsthand what the leading Chinese tour operators are looking for while building their itineraries for North American travel. Among the Chinese tour operators that will be present at this session include China International Travel Services and China Youth Travel Service.
In 2014, 1.8 million visitors from China came to the United States, spending an estimated $21 billion dollars and supporting 100,000 jobs to the American economy. The White House believes that the new, ten-year, multiple entry Visa, announced with China in November, 2014 could quadruple the number of visitors on 2021, adding nearly $90 billion dollars to the economy. Brand USA says most Chinese visitors come on sightseeing tours and to spend time with friends and relatives.
To get more information about this exciting seminar, email email@example.com or call 1-866-644-1664. Marketplace delegates can also learn more by using the downloadable Marketplace App under the list of sessions.
GroupConnect has also implemented new functions to GroupTravelConnect.com to provide more value and opportunities for members of ABA and OMCA.
These include an Updated Member Profile Area, a Tour Operator Booking Engine, TripAdvisor Reviews and additional Itinerary Building Tools for Users.
“The number of Chinese citizens visiting the U.S. is expected to exceed seven-million people in just the next six years. This is an extraordinary increase and opportunity. Our ABA members have a very good opportunity to find out more information about doing business with our Chinese guests,” said ABA President and CEO Peter Pantuso, CTIS.
