ABA announced today the appointment of Bud Geissler, Jr., president of GroupCollect in Panama City, Fla., as the 2024 ABA Marketplace Chairman in Nashville, Jan. 13-16, 2024
"Bud is a legend in the group tour and travel industry and we are excited to bring his energy and knowledge to ABA's Marketplace," said Peter Pantuso, president & CEO of ABA.
Geissler has spent more than 25 years working as a tour operator in the student travel industry. He believes that travel is an integral and transformative piece of every child’s education.
In addition to his work in the student sector, Bud has presented throughout the U.S. on a myriad of travel topics, including group planning, the role of emerging technology in travel, safety protocol, and how to grow your footprint in the group travel marketplace.
He also participated with the ABA's Meetings Advisory Committee for several years and is thrilled to have the opportunity to chair the 2024 Marketplace in Nashville.
