The American Bus Association Foundation – the largest non-profit organization in the group travel industry, with an emphasis on research and scholarships – thanks ABA member U.S. Tours and its Executive Director Bob Cline for the generous gift to the Foundation following a U.S. Tours event aimed at ABA members titled “Under the Boardwalk” in Virginia Beach, Va.
With 450 attendees and a designated portion of registration fees going to raise money for the ABA Foundation, U.S. Tours will be donating $4,200.
“We are touched by this donation from one of our members’ event,” said ABA Foundation President Peter Pantuso. “Bob and U.S. Tours have always been a supporter of ABA but to not only create an event that was geared to ABA members, but also then make a generous donation goes above and beyond. We are very grateful.”
According to U.S. Tours this was their third time producing an event in Virginia Beach but the first time there was a focus on ABA members to participate. The event is held every two years and plans for the 2020 “Rock the Boardwalk” will include a new look and feel, including three live music shows.
