Speakers will include key industry influencers such as presidents of major bus and motorcoach operators, transit operations and manufacturers from around the world, experts in bus and motorcoach technology, scientists and engineers working on the latest technologies, suppliers to the industry and others who shape the trends today and in the future.
“We are proud and honored to add the North America edition to the Busworld Academy circuit,” said Jan Deman, Busworld Academy director. “The Busworld Academy Conferences are already present on a regular basis in Europe (Brussels), China (Shanghai), South East Asia (Jakarta), Central Asia (Almaty), Russia (Moscow), Latin America (Bogotà) and Turkey (Istanbul), and a Middle East Edition is being prepared in Muscat (Oman). We cooperate with as well local and international partners, such as the United Nations, UITP, the Worldbank, the World Resource Institute, the Union of Local Governments and Cities (UCLG), Frost& Sullivan, etc. to bring high-level content and visionary speakers.”
“As chairman of the 2020 Marketplace and a motorcoach operator I look forward to participating in the upcoming Busworld Academy," said Luke Busskohl of Arrow Stage Lines in Omaha. "The industry landscape is changing, and ABA is at the forefront meeting the needs of motorcoach operators with these added value events at Marketplace. The Busworld Academy is a great addition to ABA's already stellar educational offerings in motorcoach safety, maintenance and repair, innovation and regulatory updates. There is literally education for everyone in your company - from the C-suite to sales to safety and maintenance teams. Every operator should be there! There is nothing like it offered anywhere in the U.S."
“In Omaha, the presentations will exceed the operational level, and will as such not be in conflict with the existing educational program of the ABA Marketplace,” said Stefan Meersseman from Parmentier Bus and Busworld Academy president. “We will bring testimonials from all over the world on the implementation of zero emission bus systems, on the digitalization in the bus business, and add an overview of the North American bus and motorcoach market. The debate with the CEOs and the manufacturers in the American market will showcase trends and evolutions in size, powertrains and comfort level of the future urban and interurban passenger transport, school services and motorcoach tourism.
“We are happy to announce that the Transport Departments of Paris and Amsterdam have confirmed their presence, as well as Transdev, Frost & Sullivan, Comtrade.com, Alstom, and many others. We look forward to interactive discussions between stakeholders in the bus and motorcoach industry from all over the globe.”
ABA and the Busworld Foundation are currently accepting papers from experts who would like to participate in the Academy. For more information on how to submit your paper under one of the topics highlighted, contact Brad Tucker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“We are looking forward to the 2020 debut of Busworld Academy North America,” said Peter Pantuso, president & CEO of ABA. “Busworld Academy is known around the world for putting on the best and most thought-provoking education programs in the bus and motorcoach industry. The people coming together to discuss the future of the North American industry will revolutionize how we plan for the industry in 5-10 years down the road.”
