Omaha will host the American Bus Association’s Annual Meeting & Marketplace in 2020.

American Bus Association President Peter Pantuso said Omaha was chosen in part because of its location in the middle of the country. Charlotte, North Carolina will host the convention next year. Future host cities include Louisville, Kentucky in 2019 and Baltimore in 2021.

Pantuso said the convention features meetings between travel industry professionals and motorcoach operators in a speed dating format. It also offers an exhibit hall, seminars and speakers.

He noted that because attendees are in the travel industry, they are prone to explore the host city and even bring motorcoach tours back.
