Volunteer

Volunteering at Marketplace is a great way to network and learn more about ABA.  Hundreds of delegates each year volunteer in the service centers and education sessions. Sign ups open Sept. 19.

Orientation Center

ABA is proud to offer a top-rated program that helps first-time attendees prepare for Marketplace week. You’ll learn tricks of the trade, strategies for a successful Marketplace and how to best present your organization all while making good friends and contacts in the ABA family.  Take advantage of this great opportunity by spending time in the Orientation Center.

ABA supports six special interest councils that provide education and networking opportunities throughout the show.

Bus Industry Safety Council Meetings

The Bus Industry Safety Council (BISC) is comprised of security, safety, operational leaders and government officials from across the North American motorcoach industry.

Bus Maintenance and Repair Council Meetings

The Bus Maintenance and Repair Council (BusMARC) is comprised of maintenance and equipment professionals from across the North American motorcoach and supplier industry who support the mission of continually raise the level of maintenance awareness in the intercity bus and motorcoach industry.

Hispanic Motorcoach Council Meeting

The HMC membership is comprised of dedicated and professional individuals, business owners and affiliated personnel who have a common interest in providing the highest quality and safest motorcoach services to all passengers, and are interested in working with the ever-growing Hispanic business community.

Asian Motorcoach Council Meeting

The core mission of the Asian Motorcoach Council is to reach out to Asian motorcoach and tour operators, as well as those who work with them, to ensure they are aware of current government safety regulations and have them see ABA as a resource they can turn to when it comes to best business practices. ABA also plans to use the Council a means of a networking forum to connect the motorcoach operators with tour operators around the country.

Women in Buses Council Meeting

The Women in Buses Council (WIB) is comprised of Bus Company Owners/General Managers/Executives, Bus Operator Operations & Maintenance Staff, Bus Manufacturers, Associate (Products & Services) Members, Bus Operator Safety Staff, Tour Operators, DMO/CVB Staff, Travel Industry Members, Tour Coordinators, Charter Coordinators, National/State/Provincial/Regional and Affiliated Associations and members of the industry who  recognize and advance the role of women in the motorcoach industry.

School Bus Council

The School Bus Council provides an opportunity for ABA members to meet and discuss the unique business and operational issues facing school bus operators, including Department of Transportation-related issues as well as state and local issues that are unique to school bus operations.
