Central Park officials are encouraging motorcoaches to reroute any planned trips slated for Saturday, July 12, 2008, away from Central Park, particularly Strawberry Fields, a popular stop on group bus tours. Major League Baseball will host the All-Star Concert in Central Park on that day, and large crowds are expected beginning at 6:00 am. Specific sections of the Park will be closed to the general public at 11 am or earlier depending on crowd size. Park officials are recommending operators reroute any planned trips away from the area for the entire day.
