Thanks for a Fantastic Marketplace 2013
Delegates packed the Charlotte Convention Center for the American Bus Association’s 35th annual Marketplace, the largest and best motorcoach, tourism, and travel show in North America.
More than 3,300 ABA members and industry professionals headed to Charlotte, N.C., from January 5 - 9 for Marketplace, including 787 motorcoach and tour operators. Delegates took advantage of the open Business Floor and made the most of the more than 135,000 quality appointments in addition to hundreds of networking opportunities and educational seminars.
Evening events gave attendees the chance to relax on a bed of nails and pet a starfish at Discovery Place, moonlight and Moonshine at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and rock out with Phil Vassar at the Nashville party.
And, as always, Marketplace attendees showed their generosity as well, donating $40,000 to this year's Marketplace Gives Back charity, A Child's Place, and more than $150,000 to the ABA Foundation.
ABA proved once again that Marketplace is the first and best motorcoach, travel and tourism event each year that generates millions in business opportunities and connections.
