Greyhound has signed an order for sixty (60) Prevost X3-45 motorcoaches, the two companies announced last week.

The 60 X3-45 coaches are equipped with Adaptive Cruise Braking, Following Distance Alert and Stationary Object Alert, providing timely information to the driver and encouraging good driving habits. The coaches also boast dual 1800 watt inverters powering 110 volt outlets and Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the coach cabin for each passenger.

"The motor coach order is an affirmation of Greyhound's confidence in Prevost's ability to deliver a high quality and reliable coach to our fleet," said Dave Leach, President and CEO of Greyhound Lines, Inc.

Delivery of the X3-45 coaches is scheduled to begin in June 2012 and be completed in October 2012.
