Jonathan Wilson of Kobussen Trailways was honored with the 2011 Driver of the Year Award during the Trailways 76th annual Stockholders Conference & Meeting Awards Gala.

Wilson, who has been driving school and tour buses for thirteen years, received the honor for commitment to driver safety and customer service.

During the awards, Kobussen Trailways President Joe Kobussen praised Wilson for his dedication to his passengers. "During a recent chartered excursion, a snow storm had closed the local airport so Jonathan personally arranged to have his customers driven from Wisconsin all the way to their destination in Florida," Kobussen said the group needed to be at a national high school cheerleading competition. They made it to Florida on time, plus the team even won the competition."

Wilson, who is a lifelong resident of Madison, WI, started his career as a school bus driver while still in college. He made the switch to motorcoaches in 2004. His first tour as a driver was to Washington D.C. His favorite destinations include Colorado, South Dakota, Niagara Falls and the Gulf Coast.
