Patrick Q. Jones

Legislative & Communications Coordinator

Patrick Q. Jones joined ABA in October 2009 as its new Legislative Assistant. Prior to joining ABA, he worked for the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), where he served as both Legislative Assistant and Legislative Coordinator. In those capacities, he prepared and submitted Federal Lobbying Disclosure Reports, maintained Government Affairs Department finances, researched and monitored critical bills, and wrote legislative updates for the organization’s periodicals. He also unified a coalition of key stakeholders to bring them together for a crucial legislative summit, and prepared materials and organized logistics for more than 200 Congressional office visits to promote the AACAP agenda.

Prior to his service at AACAP, Pat served as a corporate relations intern for Delphi Corporation, as a Congressional intern for Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), and as a government relations intern for the Nature Conservancy. Pat earned his B.A. in history from Wake Forest University.
