Women in Buses Council is to recognize and advance the role of women in the motorcoach industry through networking, education and mentoring programs.

Membership

  • Primary Membership: CEO, General Managers and other  bus company executives/decision-makers who are women
  • Support Membership: Product and Services Suppliers, Bus Operator Sales and Marketing staff and Travel Industry staff

Women in Buses: Everything You’ve Ever Wanted to Know About Driver Physical Qualifications Webinar

Elaine Papp, Division Chief of the Office of Medical Programs at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration

Join us for a Women in Buses exclusive webinar.  The presentation describes the role of the Medical Programs Office, discusses some statistics from the large truck causation study (this gives an idea about crashes for motor carriers even though you drive buses) as well as statistics about commercial motor vehicle drivers.   In addition the presentation discusses the various medical exemption programs available to drivers and the criteria for them.  There will be ample time for questions from the audience.
