BISC Meetings
The Bus Industry Safety Council (BISC) holds two meetings per year. The first meeting is held in early January at ABA's Marketplace. The second meeting is held in the Washington D.C. area in early June.

Summer 2012 Meeting
Herndon, VA
June 11-12, 2012
Join your colleagues for the 2012 Summer BISC meeting in Herndon, VA. Attendees will receive a Monday luncheon briefing on the how Department of Justice enforces the Americans with Disabilities Act and what non-compliance can mean to their company and how to avoid these problems.
Immediately after lunch we will begin a 10 hour OSHA compliance training program. It will cover the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. On completion of the program on Tuesday afternoon all attendees will receive their OSHA 10 completion certificate.
This program is a great start to the full OSHA 30 certification. With OSHA fines for workplace safety violations approaching stratospheric levels, this is a great opportunity to provide your company with the knowledge and skills to avoid problems with OSHA inspections in the future. Watch for further information from the BISC on this important meeting in the very near future.
